Alexandra is a Senior Associate in the Family Law team, practising across all aspects of family law, with a particular focus on complex parenting matters, family violence and domestic violence proceedings. She is regularly involved in high-conflict parenting disputes and matters involving vulnerable clients, where careful preparation, sound judgment and a nuanced understanding of family dynamics are critical.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Griffith University, graduating in 2021. She was awarded a Griffith Award for Academic Excellence for her academic results in both 2020 and 2021 and was admitted to practice in June 2022. Her background in psychological science informs a trauma-informed and client-centred approach to practice, particularly in matters involving children, mental health considerations and entrenched conflict.
Clients consistently commend Alexandra for her ability to balance empathy with rigorous legal analysis. She is known for her capacity to bridge the gap between a legal system that can often feel impersonal and the lived realities of clients and their children, ensuring that advice is both legally sound and grounded in an understanding of trauma and family complexity. Alexandra is committed to providing pragmatic, clear and realistic advice, while remaining mindful that family law outcomes have lasting impacts on people’s lives.
Outside of practice, Alexandra is deeply committed to training and competition, with running and Hyrox forming a significant part of her life. These pursuits reinforce the discipline, resilience and ability to perform under pressure that she brings to her legal work.
